As I type this, it's absolutely pouring down with rain and the wind is threatening to knock our garden fences again. But you know, some typically summery nail colours. In a typically British summer, no less...
Regardless of what's going on outside, what's going on my nails at the moment is pretty rad. The Maybelline Superstay Forever Strong polishes aren't new by any means but I'd somehow managed not to get swept up in the hype (for a change.) I picked up the shades Uptown Blue and Pink Volt on a recent trip to Boots and WHY? Why haven't I picked these up sooner? To put it bluntly; they do everything you want a nail polish to do and they do it well. Opaque in two coats, incredibly glossy and stick around for the as-promised seven days before any noticeable chips occur. Reasonably fast drying, especially so with Seche Vite.
It has a nice wide brush, so there's no faffing about with this, there's no 'flooding' of the brush either. Anyone else get that fear when a nail polish brush floods?
Verdict? I need to go back for Orange Punch, pronto.
Have you tried the Maybelline Forever Strong nail polishes?
