That's not a bad view for a Monday afternoon, right?...
We took a little drive up to Bellever Forest and it is so unbelievably pretty there. A few families were there enjoying the sunshine and having some barbecues (why didn't we think of that?) but for the most part it was quiet and pretty damn beautiful and there's loads of areas to explore, when we go back we're definitely going on one of the trails as we pretty much stuck to the river this time around.
It was so nice to get out somewhere completely different, it's a fair drive from where we live so not a usual dog-walk but definitely a once-a-week trip kind of deal. Not to mention a little treat of the pub we hit up on the way back home, to sit in the beer garden and munch our way through some pretty lush food. On a Monday. Score.
I've had a little luck with food! Honestly it feels like a breakthrough when I can go a whole day without any pain. It was starting to really affect my mood and eating became tiresome and a kind of awful experience. I'm still getting various symptoms which I can handle (but are still a pain,) but I have an ultrasound coming up at the end of the month so fingers crossed something is found. I think half the time with this kind of thing, not knowing is the absolute worse.
Literally two seconds after I took this photo, Stanley leapt at my camera thinking it was some sort of game, getting confused by the clicking. My sisters pups are so adorable, I feel pretty lucky to get to spend so much time with them, even if our two dogs don't like it so much!
How has your week been?
