My motivation for posting wishlist style posts is because it's a good way of keeping track of what I want/need - when I make these little set collages, more often than not they'll get lost in the depths of the Pictures folder, somewhere. Never to be found. So my reasons are purely selfish.
Sorry about that.
All my thoughts have been around what sofa to buy come September. I am not even kidding, I spend a large amount of the day daydreaming about what style, colour and once I've taken in all that, will it even fit through the door?! I'm even more confused now as the one we were dead certain on seems to have vanished...
I have a problem.
Regardless, I think I've narrowed it down to either a cobalt blue or play it safe with a grey. Any thoughts? Help a girl out! Our joint favourite was a really beautiful tan leather creation, not something I thought I would like at all as it was quite chunky, quite overly masculine, if you will. It just goes to show seeing things in a store helps a tonne for this kind of decision.
Boring bits I actually need; a big pile of plain black RIBBA frames. I think we are getting round to putting up the second picture ledge over the next few days (hurrah!) So I can create a change-able gallery wall. Again, a boring need but it still greatly exciting.
Second, the Helmer drawer unit. I've already got one but I have a suspicion that I'll need another one - I'm changing around how I store my makeup so getting rid of the MALM dressing table. It's a good dressing table, just a bit... bland? It's also seriously long and takes up a lot of walking space where I have it - even if it is the perfect depth.
A sheepskin rug has been on my to-do, not wishlist, but "Sophie why do you always forget to buy this?" kind of list. When I buy the frames, this is being bought too, to go on the eames chair, probably.
Lastly, that pink pouffe from Made.com because oh my god. So cute. That's all the reasons I need for it being on my wishlist. That and it's the right size, details details.
