Or another title option; Where The Hell Have I Been?
Well, with all the pretty views I guess. Or it seems that way in any case. Because honestly after the last post I was meant to sit down and at least have a few posts scheduled because I knew I would be busy and dang it, I wanted to blog . But then it got busier.
That being said I will get back into a regular blogging schedule. Soon. Hopefully. Unless life throws more curveballs (all the good and bad ones.)
I helped the Mr shoot a wedding (video, not photo,) although I say "help" loosely because all I had to do was keep the camera in focus. It was a pretty amazing ceremony - I had to stop myself from crying (what is it about weddings?) at certain points - and the locations that the couple had chosen were amazing and seemed to fit them perfectly.
I also had my ultrasound and got so overwhelmed because a.) they found nothing and b.) they found nothing. Anyone with an ongoing health issue of any kind will know how frustrating it is to not know what is going on with your own body. Obviously it's brilliant that there is nothing serious going on and I honestly felt so relieved but on the other hand to be none the wiser is just so upsetting. In any case, I am currently being treated for IBS and I'm going a bit mental trying to figure it out...
A gentle walk to by the river was kind of just what I needed. I got distracted by taking photos and doing my first time lapse that I forgot about everything else. It was kind of amazing. I've never been able to switch off like that completely.
And you know, I can't not post a Mulberry update because kittens. All the kitten related joy! She's 14 weeks old and is just so very entertaining with everything she does, like most young animals. Her eyes have changed colour now and her tortoiseshell markings are becoming clearer too. She also has her second lot of injections tomorrow, so we're expecting a cute, clingy and lethargic kitten tomorrow (it was kind of heartbreaking for her first set to see her so tired when she is an absolute rager usually...)
Salem and Scruffy (Trixie has been really good/inquisitive when we do let them interact lightly, even if Mulberry hisses at her wagging tail,) pretty much ignore her at the moment. A kind of "if we can't see it, it's not here!" tactic. Amusing as hell.
So, have you been having a hectic few weeks too?
