Playing it a little fast and loose with the title. Again.
In all seriousness I have had all the bad skin recently. Redness has been flaring up, break outs have been happening more often and oh the dehydration. Basically anything my hormones and IBS can throw at me, I guess?
I've picked up a few new bits and pieces to at least try and soothe my poor skin - whilst eating all the healthy foods and drinking basically all the water - two from Soap & Glory a brand which I pretty much over look a lot of the time in terms of facial skincare offerings.
The Ultimelt has been an absolute babe to work with for cleansing; whilst this is a typical hot cloth cream cleanser, it feels almost balm like on the skin whilst still being light enough to work with easily yet still hydrating and feels pretty darn luxurious to use. It smells like it's come straight out of a spa and it's pleasing to note the essential oils don't irritate my redness at all, although if you are particularly sensitive to essential oils its obvious to say it's best to avoid them altogether. Whilst it gets rid of make up well, I prefer using this as a second cleanse in the evening after a cleansing oil - purely a placebo, of course, as you can use it any which way you want to cleanse. Guys, the scent is just so relaxing for the evening.
If you are looking a good overnight mask, the Beauty Sleep Accelerator may be the ticket. This feels incredibly light to apply, almost like a whipped cream (not that I have put that on my face. Just saying.) I apply this about three to four nights a week (sometimes less, never more,) and it's really helped with keeping my skin feeling a lot more 'plump' and overall hydrated. If you're lucky enough to be jetting away, this would be amazing to use on longer haul flights too (and in fact says so on the tub; night & flight.)
Basically, I won't be overlooking Soap & Glory again, do you have any favourite products from their skincare line?
Oh, and a last side note; it looks totally awesome in the bathroom. Such pleasing packaging.
